Michael and Maggie appear to have lived in the same home at 11 Albert Street, Abbotsford, for much of their married lives, with Maggie staying on there after Michael's death.
Michael and Maggie's only child, Alice, died at the age of 23 in July 1931.
Michael died at Melbourne Hospital from "Uraemia" and a "Perforated Pre-pyloric Ulcer" on 20 November 1927. He was buried with their daughter at Fawkner Cemetery on 22 Nov 1927, grave number RC-I-1906. Maggie died on 17 July 1962 at the Mental Hospital, Kew, and was buried with her husband and daughter.
